Brazos Valley Mental Health and Wellness Battery Intervention and Prevention Program is a 19-25 week class (including intake and orientation) for individuals who have been referred to us because of abuse, violence, and/or controlling behavior in their intimate family relationships. Our goal is to teach clients how to recognize abuse, take accountability for their actions, and change their behaviors.
BIPP is a 24-week group program that educates offenders of domestic abuse to identify the reasons and triggers behind their aggression. After initial evaluation, clients will be put on a waiting list for when the next class begins. Attendance requirements are strict, and each month a progress report will be sent to the referring agency.
Through education, consultation, prevention services, and outreach, we will achieve the mission to promote development and growth for both of your personal needs and interpersonal competencies. Our programs meet the Texas State Guidelines and TDLR (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations). Our BIPP program is certified by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and the Texas Council on Family Violence. OurGrayAreas counseling center is an Accredited facility provider with the courts, probation, parole, and CPS/DFPS.
